Investigating the Relationship between Social Learning Components and Tendency to Delinquency among first and second High School Students in Rasht City(Akers Social Learning Theory test)

Abstract

One of the social issues that researchers are interested in is student delinquency in schools. delinquency has always been a sensitive and challenging issue for educational administrators.The purpose of the present study is to investigate the relationship between the components of social learning and the tendency to delinquency among first and second high school students in Rasht city. In terms of practical purpose, survey method is used. Data collection has been done using a questionnaire tool. The statistical population of this research consists of first and second high school students. To determine the sample size, 270 male students and 270 female students were selected using Gpower software, and a total of 540 questionnaires were distributed among the students. Data analysis was done using spss software and using descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings of the research show that there is a significant relationship between the dependent variable of students' tendency to delinquency with the components of individual achievement, informal inhibition, Differential Association and imitating social networks as social learning variables. According to the results of the research, the social learning components have the greatest effect on the students' tendency to delinquency due to the component of individual achievement, imitation of social networks, Differential Association and informal inhibition.
